āA screening that starts at 10am would radically change my day. Only unemployed and freelance moviegoers would benefit but thatās most of us anyway.ā PERIOD!
Ahhh YES to A Bigger Splash (I'd also live in I Am Love) and The Lion in Winter. I became obsessed with TLiW when I was like fifteen and do an annual rewatch every December. I used to want loved ones to watch it with me but I've learned now it's better solo.
My first movie in the theater was ET and Iāll never forget how HUGE it felt. The picture, the emotions, the musicā¦going to the movies remains one of lifeās great pleasures (unless someone is talking or on their phone, in which case I wish that person the worst).
I used to always get the Veggie Burger and Grandpa Sundae at the Williamsburg Nitehawk and they are both gone from the menu now, to my great sadness! But itās still my favorite place to go.
all my homies hate the 10pm movie
In my dreams I am that person that vlogged the 3am screening of Dune pt 2. In reality Iām in bed by 9:30pm
i co-sign all of this aside from being disgusted by La-Z-Boy lounge chairs- i love them š
I love them when they look new and clean but most of the AMCs i frequent canāt say thatā¦..
yea i disassociate on that as i hit the recline button
thank you! this was so fun ĖŹā”ÉĖ
Thank you so much! ā„ļø

As usual, got some superb recs!! Excited to watch Bigger Splash and speaking out about the 10pm movie is SO allowed.
Totally agree about living inside A Bigger Splash. My dream location, clothing, way of life.

ET was one of my firsts too! We were so lucky
Ok so now I need to watch Lion in winter bc I saw the poster and always saw it as a romance š but that description has me sold!!
Sorry I like 10pm screenings and lazy boy seats are necessary (though it probably helps that my theatre has relatively new seats)
I just watched the quick and the dead! I love how Sam Raimi always delivers a great mix of campiness and cool and always drama.
